One of my favourite steakhouses in USA and NYC especially. Sort of doing the root job of meat cuisine.
Cosy place, distinctive service, waiters (most of them look like mafia bosses from thirties) are even try (I hope) to create sort of atmosphere of impassivity, but the actual service is right on time and spot.
First important things: delicious branded butter and actual notepad to either make notes about the important deals discussed (restaurant is quite a favourite for many wall street and similar sharks) or just to write down the feeling from the food or may be to think about the shopping list….


Oysters. As oysters in US are typically significantly inferior to those you may by used for in Europe, these were admirable.

Love theirs branded knife, which is actually really good in cutting anything (preferably meat on the plate) and also their sauce, having very complex but delicate and indecipherable taste 🙂


Finally the meat. Tender, juicy, well prepared, tasty… One of the best in NYC That time of the year accompanied by the asparagus, again of top quality and well prepared.


All in All: If you are meat lover, a must have in NYC !
