Recently, I have visited this trendy Leuven restaurant with some colleagues. You may expect the high level of cuisine, based on the position of Zarza in various ranks and reviews, and you might be pretty right.
It is crowded, little bit hazy, mixed interior, mostly deemed to be modern, which typically ends in not very comfortable seating.
But you will forgot about the seating one the meal is served.
Then followed by interesting combination of fish, cheese, vegetables and fruit ice cream. Inspiring
Green leaves with sort of dry spongy something created from greens accompanied with gingerbread. Curious 🙂
Fish killed by flavour of vegetables, spices and mussels. Sort of complex.
Delicious vanilla, lemon strawberry sorbet/ice cream mixed style desert. Wow
Petit four: Â chocolate, marshmallow, cookie. Lovely !
All and all, great restaurant for more dynamic and hectic gatherings.
